2010 RSA Convention

May 2, 2010

I remember back in 2003 when the RSA Convention was all about inline and speed skating. Then, Jamskating started to take over, and after seeing the trade show this year, it’s a good feeling to know that we’ve left our mark in the skating world forever. Quad skates dominated the majority of the trade show vendor shelves this year, but not just for Jamskating. I’m talking speed, derby, and recreational, too. Jennifer & I visited the show this year for a couple of different reasons. (1) We needed to introduce ourselves to several vendors that sell and distribute our Learn To Jamskate DVD products. (2) We needed to introduce ourselves to several vendors that want to sell our DVD products. (3) We were also representing the Jamskating ENT Crew to promote our 2010 skating rink tour. Jennifer and I skated around handing out flyers and talking to rink owners about signing up. Overall, it was a great weekend. We got a LOT acomplished, received a lot of good contacts, and reached our goals with the Learn To Jamskate products. It was my turn for a Video Blog, but you know me, all willy-nilly. So, hopefully, you get something out of convention as seen through my eyes. When the convention was over, Jen & I headed over to the Craps table and spent several hours winning money. To end the night, we lost it all in Roulette. Vegas at night is pretty sweet, but we’re glad to be home again.
